As we edge closer until January 14 and the start of the 2019 Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), more vehicles are getting revealed before their debut. Let's add another one to the list, folks.

The latest to make the cut is the 2020 Volkswagen Passat.

Leaked by Carscoops via Wheelsage, the "all-new" Passat looks anything but. Observing it from both the outside and inside, it appears to be just a heavy handed refresh of the current-gen product.

Tomorrow we'll get the full download of information and what's actually going on. We suspect there will be updated powertrains that provide more oomph and greater fuel efficiency. In addition, we wouldn't be surprised if an all-electric variant also comes along since we're pretty sure there won't be a diesel alternative.

Until then, check it out via the leaked images below.
