Here we go again. At the 2013 New York Auto Show Acura revealed the all-new 2014 MDX luxury sport-utility vehicle and the pattern was the same as many other Acura launches.

There will be two drivetrains offered: All-wheel drive and front-wheel drive. Power will come from a V6 producing nearly 300 horsepower. There are a lot of LEDs embedded in the front headlights. Acura has worked to soften the beak's impact. It too features the dual-screen center stack a la the Honda Accord and all-new RLX.

The big improvements can be seen in its weight loss of around 275 pounds over the previous-gen vehicle. In addition it's wheelbase has grown, which is good news for interior space.

When it comes to driving the MDX, it's a game of alphabet soup. There's so many abbreviations for the amount of technology stuffed into this vehicle. I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. Technology can be great, if it's applied in an impactful way. Not tech for tech sake.

That said, we want you to take this entire package into consideration. Then, let us know: What does the all-new MDX get from you? A thumbs UP or a thumbs DOWN?
