NEW YORK AUTO SHOW: Stephen Colbert Drops In And Sails With The Four Rings

At an auto event it isn't standard fare to have a comedian come by in character. Even rarer is an announcement having to deal with sailing. Don't they have a boat show for a reason?

Easily one of the buzzier events of the day was Stephen Colbert's appearance at the Audi press conference. Colbert challenged Richard Branson, known for Virgin, and Mark Allen, of Microsoft, to a sail boat race. This is where Audi comes in -- Audi is sponsoring Colbert's boat.

Johan de Nysschen, Audi US President, then presented Colbert with a little gift from the four rings. Some may say its over engineered but that's how Audi rolls.
