Leading up to the launch of the all-new Acura NSX, I remember forecasting that the first-gen NSX would see a bump in its values. It was pretty crazy to see it play out.

What was once an affordable, and rare, Japanese sports car became unattainable to the masses in a short period of time.

While the fourth generation Toyota Supra has been the object of affection for many since the 1990s, it seems it may be positioned for an explosion in its value. This time it's not due to the Fast And Furious franchise either. You can thank the 2020 Supra for that.

Take, for example, this particular car that's on Bring A Trailer. It's a vehicle with about 7,000 miles on the odometer and at the time of this writing has a bid on it for $90,000. According to the listing the numbers all match and it has no stories. It's so original the tires allegedly have a 1994 date code on them — extremely dangerous but this is something crazy collectors look for.

All that said, I've got to ask: Is this 1994 Toyota Supra WORTH upwards of six figures?

This 1994 Toyota Supra has just 7k miles and is powered by a turbocharged 3.0L inline-6 mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Finished in Renaissance Red over a tan leather interior, the car was first leased in 1994 in Florida. It then moved to Pennsylvania in 1999 when the lessee reportedly purchased the car. The selling dealer acquired the Supra 20 months ago and has changed the oil. Since then, the car has been stored in a climate controlled facility as part of the selling dealer’s private collection.
