Now equipped with the Corvette Z06's 640 horsepower and 640 lb.-ft. torque motor, it takes the Camaro to a whole 'nother level. After just driving a six-cylinder Camaro last week, I can attest to General Motors' engineering team ensuring that this all-new Camaro has much improved driving dynamics.

And if there's one thing that GM has proved to us in the past 12 months, it's that it can build great high-performance cars.

One thing that did stick out to me though is the Camaro's rather lackluster interior. From the hard plastics to the awkwardly angled infotainment screen it is a bit of a hot mess. That said, the ZL1 at least tries to right the wrongs with its Alcantara-laden Recaro seats, Alcantara door panels and Alcantara dash.
