Jaguar is the company we all know, and used to love. The company was at it's high in the early 2000's. Lately they havn't been very popular. It's hard to actually get a navigation system in models like the X-Type, S-Type, and XJ. They are considered outdated.

It's time for Jaguar to step up to the plate. For years and years they were in the top. But now they just aren't focused. Example look at the 2007 S-Class. The Jaguar XJ is no where near that. Engine wise the power is great. Otherwise it's not.

I mean the power in these cars are GREAT, but technologically the cars fall back short. The only good Jaguar model is the new XK.

Jaguar has decided to update their model line. The new S-Type should be on sale next year. Trust me it's nice. Basically it is a reskin of the current car. They are dumping the retro look in exchange for a more modern sleeker design giving a more contemporary feel inside and out. Personally I think it has taken too long for them to do this. This should have been done last year.

The new XJ is on its way, but not until 2009. It is a welcome shift n design for the new generatin XJ. The new XJ should have been due next year. But the present model is desperatly hanging on. Designers have given this new XJ a more muscular stance, and a more sleeker cat look. The present model has extremely capable chassis, but it's interior and exterior designs are stuck in the past. The next generation XJ will use the same underpinnings of its present model, but it will gain some more modern lines. A new line of engines include a Volvo-derived in-line six and updated proprietary V-8's will provide the propulsion.

It's about time Jaguar steps up to the plate. Jaguar was really getting outdated. I really think that the Jaguar XJ should be relesed sooner, because of the S-Class, and the next generation BMW 7-Series which will arive sometime around 2008.

This task should have been taken care of along time ago. It's taking longer than it should have. All Jaguar's doing is re-skinning two of their models. Unfortunatly the dated X-Type might be cut off the model line. Jaguar is striving to keep the entry level model in line with the others such as the new BMW 3-Series.

Well in conclusion I hope that the new generations of Jag's are succesful, and it was about time that they came into the scene once again.
