A new mystery has surfaced before this year's Paris Motor Show. Aside from Lamborghini teasing the world with a vehicle's outline and a simple caption reading "Once perfection is achieved, you can just double it," it turns out all-new information has made its way to the interwebz.

That's because Lamborghini has filed a trademark for an all-new name and logo.

The name is Asterion and the logo can be seen in our cover image.

So, what's that mean, exactly? Well, at this stage there's only pure speculation. As of now everyone's lips are sealed.

Two things being pointed out via Autoblog:

1) Note that the logo features what appears to be a lightning bolt passing through the "o" in Asterion — could it be a vehicle featuring a hybrid or electric powertrain?

2) According to our friends at Autoblog, Asterion is "one of the names for the minotaur in Greek mythology, which is a creature that is part bull and part man." Frankly, I don't think this is much of a clue as that means zippo to me.

Have any ideas of your own?

To me it seems like a 2+2 or GT car that may feature a hybrid powertrain as that's the craze right now and completely missing from Lamborghini's current powertrain options.
