So, you've seen the studio shots but now it's time to get down to reality: How does Volkswagen's all-new product strike your fancy?Or does it not do anything for you? Bottom line, we want to know what your initial thoughts are. Though its styling has become a bit more squared-off and edgier, it doesn't seem like much has changed in that department. The real changes are happening inside the Golf.On the inside, it's become a bit more spacious and, of course, features an updated interior that seems to harken back to the MKIII days -- I am focusing on that center stack.I keep looking at the images 001 shot and I am still not clear if the interior is riddled with that God-awful hard plastic. Unfortunately, these days VW has gotten really good at masking it, as I found out with the new Jetta. In addition, this is the Euro-spec version. Who knows what will happen with the U.S.-spec'd vehicle.2012 Paris Motor Show Full Photo Gallery**The 2012 Paris Motor Show photo galleries are sponsored by Lexus2012 Paris Motor Show Full Photo Gallery

The color interior remember me a BMW but not only this , the interior is the driver door is just the same as the BMW X5, interesting. The rest of the interior is great . I like it.— pepito66 (View Profile)

I doubt that VW will downgrade the Golf's interior as the Golf is the best seller. Jetta is not popular in Europe and was de-contented for the US market which is typically more focused on vehicle cost than the amenities favored by the Europeans. Otherwise, as best I can see from the pics, the Golf's interior looks remarkably like the current gen Golf although the center console looks larger.— HighDesert (View Profile)
