001 and 00R spent the day driving, testing and photographing two of the upcoming Lexus IS350C's. No, it's not. If you're a simplistic maroon with no discerning taste, then yeah, I guess it's easy to "like them all". The first picture you use in the article makes it look very nice, but as soon as you get around to the rear 3/4 and beyond, it falls apart. And when the top is up -- I haven't seen such ugliness in quite some time. I like the base IS350 for the most part, think the IS-F's side scoops and stacked exhaust ruin things quite a bit, and find this new version to be the biggest mis-step in the line thus far. The proportions look odd from about the A pillar back. Seems like too much distance between the end of the door and the beginning of the wheel well. Then the rear overhang seems to much... It looks good in the front but the rest is off.— valhallakey (View Profile)

M53R Agree the tail lights look very Toyota Aurion like. They suit on Aurion but not on IS-C IMO. btw overall looks nice. Especially in the second photo. Only if the tail lights were a bit better. Nice convertible and F accessories are tasteful as well.JUGNU— JUGNU (View Profile)

Wow. What the f*** happened here? Horrible, horrible design. The transition from the C-pillar to the trunk lid is just a complete and utter mess. Why the gap? And the ledge that is created at the bottom edge of the backlight, to the trunk lid is 1980's fare. How much wind noise and dirt accumulation is that going to create? And the gap between the trunk lid and the rear quarter panels is enough for a raccoon to get thru to sneak into the trunk. — senorgato (View Profile)
