The final arrangements are being done for the opening of the new Porsche Museum on the 31st of January 2009. The scaffolding has be removed at long last and it is now feasible to view the whole expanse of the daring architectural structure of the edifice, across the head office area of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG in Zuffenhausen, the well-known town of Stuttgart, in Germany, that has been the home of Porsche since 1950.
Three reinforced concrete support carries the 5,600 square meters of exhibition space giving the illusion that the edifice seem to hover in empty space. Currently, already setup inside are almost all of the estimated 80 exhibits.
