Volkswagen's powerful works council has cancelled Sunday shifts at VW's Wolfsburg plant in Germany for the third quarter, a step that further jeopardizes the plant's production target, German magazine Bilanz reported on Wednesday.Existing production problems at Wolfsburg will already cause annual output to be "clearly below" a planned in-house target of almost 850,000 cars, but remain above the 807,000 cars produced last year, sources familiar with the company have said.
