In the wonderful world of supercars, it's hard to not think about the likes of Ferrari and Lamborghini. For years they've been the object of affection for generations. Hell, how many of you had pictures of the Testarossa or Countach on your teenage bedroom walls?

Exactly.

And then in the 1990s McLaren came along and spoiled the party with an all-new supercar. Called the F1 it featured a BMW V12 engine and it sounded like the devil. It was...brilliant.

Considered the world's greatest supercar up there with the Ferrari F40, it comes from a different era. When cars were more pure and it was you, the shifter and a third pedal. These days, no one is coming close.

And that's why McLaren's Special Operations division (MSO) took in this lovely F1, with a mere 2,800 miles on the odometer, and is offering it for sale. Given that just over 100 units of the F1 were built — some of which are race-prepped vehicles — this road-going F1 is going to be hot to trot. It's also a unique shade that's best described as charcoal.

While it may not have the LM's downforce kit, there's no reason why you couldn't have it added. We know a buyer who had their F1 re-prepped at McLaren's headquarters.

According to reports, this vehicle may fetch over $10 million USD. Though you may think that's a rather hefty price tag, you must keep in mind that Rowan Atkinson's F1 fetched over $12 million USD last year.
