Bosch, who is a major automotive parts supplier, seems to be having problems with its fuel pumps. Recently other auto manufacturers issued a recall for faulty Bosch fuel pumps and it looks like two more are joining the fracas.

Audi and Volkswagen have recalled both the A3 and Golf GTI due to this Bosch-related issue. According to what we've been told, the nickel plating on the fuel pumps may come off and lead to the pump's demise.

Obviously if you're sans fuel pump, you will be in a world of trouble.

That's because the vehicle will not start and, even worse, if you're in motion the vehicle will stall.
