It seems as though Mercedes-Benz's all-new C-Class has made quite a splash in the US since its debut. I have been seeing them all over the New York Tri-State region and I'll admit I am NOT hating it. The car looks great on the road.

As we saw with the last-generation C-Class though there's still more to come, however. That would be the C-Class Coupe, Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe and the C-Class Convertible we've spotted testing. As of now we can't confirm with any accuracy that the coupe and convertible will be fully independent of each other, but given the success of the last-gen slick top I'd hope the three-pointed star produces a proper coupe instead of a combination featuring a folding metal roof.

According to the latest reports streaming to us from our German friends, the next-gen C-Class Coupe will appear next December and feature a design that's lower and wider over its sedan sibling. In addition, it will have a more aggressive look. Sounds good to us!

Expect the motors to be carried over from the existing volume sellers in the C-Class sedan portfolio. A tarted up AMG variant is expected to show up in 2016.
