When the F10 BMW 5-Series made its debut it was a departure from the avant-garde, Bangle-era E60 5-Series. To be straightforward, though I know a lot of folks LOVED the E60, I hated every millimeter of it.
Those Dame Edna headlights were the worst.
But the F10 brought back a more traditional BMW look. It was stately, classy and looked a bit like the much loved E39 that was once declared "the best car, ever."
So, now where do the Bavarians take the 5'er? Well, there is no crystal clear answer yet although we have seen spy pictures of the next-gen vehicle undergoing development.
These initial renderings do provide one idea of how BMW may choose to play it safe and give the 5 an evolution rather than a revolution.
