While Mercedes-Benz was happy to roll out the red carpet for the all-new Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show, I am still left scratching my head. If you're wondering why, let me be the first to tell you.

It isn't all that special.

Aside from some slight trim differentiation, more strategically placed chrome, custom wheels and some other minor changes, it's not much else aside from an S65 AMG Cabriolet. One thing I do feel confident about, however, is that if all 300 units are sold swiftly, you can expect the same treatment to be given to the S-Class Coupe.

If you were wondering what that may just look like, then take a peek at the latest work from X-Tomi Design.

That said, SHOULD they or SHOULDN'T they?
