It was only days ago that Audi formally announced that 2016 would bring forward two all-new products. First will be an all-new Q2 that we expect to continue lowering the barrier of entry into the Audi brand. Second is an all-new Q5 to replace the very-long-in-the-tooth current-gen Q5 sport-utility vehicle.
But, how will it look?
Given the way we've been seeing Audi attack all-new product launches with their design, we're thinking this will continue down the road of being an evolution rather than a revolution. The reality is that the German automaker has been doing a lot of work underneath the sheetmetal.
Just a guess here, but maybe the company is focusing its research & development costs on its vehicles better driving dynamics and lightening the load rather than sexy and innovative design. Case in point: the all-new Q7, which weighs less and boasts a tremendous amount of technology.
Having said that, our friends abroad have put together some renderings based on educated speculation. That said, IF the all-new Audi Q5 looks like the image, would YOU be interested in it or is it a PASS?
