Say it isn't so!

According to the latest reports coming to us from across the pond, Jeremy Clarkson will be fired in an announcement to be made on Wednesday by the BBC. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise to many gear heads who have been closely following the latest developments as the main star of Top Gear was suspended earlier in March for what was called a "fracas" during production. The remaining episodes from the currently airing series were cancelled and production halted.

After an investigation, it is being reported that Clarkson was irritated after a long day's work to find out that there would not be any hot food being served. Clarkson then verbally abused a junior member of the production staff for 20 minutes, which was then followed by a physical attack lasting approximately 30 seconds.

So, now what? Well, the latest word on the street has targeted Chris Evans as filling in Jezza's spot but given that Richard Hammond and James May were still in negotiations, this will get VERY interesting. Hammond and May have stated they would not go on without Clarkson previously.

In addition, rumors are swirling that Clarkson could take his talent to other networks in the U.K. or even possibly Netflix.

One thing is certain. Wherever he goes, there will be at least one million followers.
