To me, it's always interesting to see what cars senior executives at automobile companies are driving. While I've seen a top executive at Ford tooling around in specially painted and modified Ford Mustang GT, it wasn't surprising that Alan Mulally famously owned a Lexus LS when he first arrived on the scene to fix the ship.

Although he's recently made headlines for getting the boot at Volkswagen Auto Group (VAG), Ferdinand Piech is making a new wave. That's because for the first time, his one-off Porsche 918 has been spotted out and about in public.

And, as you'd expect, his 918 is not like the others.

According to reports, this specific car features a fixed roof and is not like the standard 918 Spyder version. In addition, it also boasts a custom spoiler that cannot be had on the standard specification 918 Spyder.

Probably the most obvious change from the 918 you'll come across is its paint scheme. Piech must really have loved the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition (WRE). That's because his Porsche 918 is painted to mimic it. Note the largely black vehicle that's accented with orange and a set of orange wheels?
