Reiter Engineering, the German racing and engineering company, has unwrapped a street-going version of its Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT racecar. Reiter Engineering is the factory-supported entry for the Lamborghini team in the FIA GT Championships, and is famous for its design of lightweight racing variants of Lamborghini supercars such as the Murcielago, Gallardo and Diablo.
Showcased at the Essen Motor Show, the street-going Murcielago R-GT highlights a number of revisions including a fresh carbon-fiber front spoiler, a fresh rear diffuser and a outstanding spoiler at the rear. One of the most apparent recisions, however, is at the rear where Reiter Engineering has relocated the Lamborghini double-exhaust to the top of the back in line with the brake lights.
