The Ferrari FF is likely the most controversial product from Maranello in quite some time. There's a plethora of reasons but I would have to say that one of the primary issues is that it features a hatchback design. That's something that many folks would likely agree was not to be expected on an Italian stallion. Ferrari's are suppose to be lustful, not utilitarian.Well, Ferrari clearly flipped that philosophy upside down when the FF debuted with all-wheel drive -- a first for a Ferrari. Though with the hot debate, the FF has actually been a desirable product. It made Neiman Marcus' coveted Christmas Book and was sold out shortly. Now that an aftermarket supplier -- it looks like Giovanna -- has gotten its hands on the Pininfarina design, given it a matte red paint job/wrap, added some carbon fiber bits and a new wheel and tire set up, I have to ask:Is this Giovanna Ferrari FF a STUD or a DUD?The 2012 SEMA Show Gallery and coverage is sponsored by LexusOfficial 2012 SEMA Show Photo Gallery

I kinda disagree, but I do understand why FF isn't the design homerun a few people thought it would be.It's like Ferrari could have make a 4-dr version of this, but decided to be a little "safe" & just make a coupe/hatch. Maybe they couldn't get the weight balanced correctly for the driving characteristics they expect - idk. I'd like the FF better if it have 2 half rear doors.— dumpsty (View Profile)
