After yesterday's post that featured spy photos of a mystery car from a friend of AutoSpies, Geoff, it seems we may have triggered a response from our other friend, Fred Khaz. Typically an attendee of Irvine's Cars and Coffee and also roaming SoCal with a camera, Khaz always is snapping great and interesting prototypes in action.
Considering there are a lot of satellite hubs and design centers, for automakers, based in SoCal, Khaz captures a lot of stuff we haven't seen before.
The latest car seems to be indistinguishable though. Even Khaz is unsure and he was riding next to it!
From the angles Khaz shot the car at and given the overall shape, we'll hazard a guess it's a new Hyundai Sonata underneath the camouflage and cover of dark. It's definitely in need of a makeover and this could be the FIRST shots that Hyundai's being proactive about its popular midsize sedan.
