We've been watching the Maserati Levante undergo research and development for what's starting to feel like an unreasonably long time. That's because we saw the Kubang Concept and we've been waiting for more.

Though we've been bringing you the latest spy shots, not much has been revealed yet.

The vehicle's covered top-to-bottom in camouflage and the Italian automaker has taken the extra step of adding even more classing/camouflage to its roof. Clearly, the company is maskings its roofline for a good reason.

While an executive recently noted the all-new Maserati SUV wouldn't be a four-door coupe, it is look like there's a bit of sloping along the back end of the SUVs roofline.

From what I can tell, it looks like the company is going to continue with the look that's found on the current-gen Ghibli and Quattroporte. That means a large front grille, squinty headlights and a sensuous body with pronounced hips.

Let's hope it sounds good.
