Since the launch of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' (FCA) Hellcat engine, we've been wondering how long it would take for the company to shoehorn it into the Grand Cherokee. In our opinion, the Grand Cherokee is still a great sport-utility vehicle — albeit a bit dated — and we cannot imagine why the company wouldn't make it work.

Originally, it said that the Hellcat motor wouldn't see the day.

Turns out that someone must have rethought that sentiment as it's been spied and spotted numerous times in recent months. Well, today, folks we've got a treat. The all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT has been caught completely in the buff. But we can't tell: Is THIS the Hellcat?

Because the changes are minimal, it's not clear that this is a different animal all together. The biggest change is the new facade that makes room for better cooling via large air intakes. To complicate matters, around the back its dual exhaust looks much more heavy duty for better flow.

Given that the vehicle has been spotted with essentially zero camouflage, we can't imagine Jeep holding this one back much longer. What say you, Spies? Is it just a "Plain Jane" SRT or is it the all-new Hellcat-equipped Grand Cherokee?
