In recent years, Land Rover Range Rover has been just ringing the cash register.

Sales are fantastic, the brand is enjoying some of its greatest days of allure and the products are class-leading. So, how do you improve on that? There is not a right answer, to be honest.

What we do know, however, is that the Range Rover Sport will be receiving an update in the near term. That's because the very first spy shots have been snapped of the camouflaged development car.

Sporting a crouched stance and its teutonic look, it's easy to see the new front grille and front clip. There's new slits in the facade but we cannot be sure if these are functional or simply for style points.

I can't seem to find any other exterior details that separate it from the current model, but if you note anything please let us know via the comments.

Things to expect:

- A slightly revised interior with the updated infotainment software/controls
- Possible bump in power as well as increase in fuel efficiency
- New headlights/taillights
