Easily one of the most desirable vehicles on the planet is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Typically found in sedan form, the enthusiast community has fallen in love with its available AMG variants.

Not only are they significantly modified for performance, the cars look much more impressive with their sporting intentions being made known. Though, it should be noted that the AMG-specific cars have been made a bit more difficult to tell apart from the standard issue models. This is because the AMG Sport Package-equipped standard vehicles look more aggressive and have similar lines.

We're not sure if this has played into the three-letter division's move to differentiate the cars in a more noticeable way but that's what's on the way. The very first images of the refreshed Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe depict a vehicle with a modified facade. While it's all covered up, if you really pay attention you'll note that the lamellas in the front grille are no longer the two horizontal blades, which were the new AMG trademark. Now, the front grille has vertical lamellas a la the AMG GT R.

Considering reports have surfaced that all-new AMG vehicles will be getting this treatment, this doesn't strike us a huge surprise but we're a bit apprehensive how this will appear visually. In addition to the vertical lamellas, please see the all-new front valence and addition of inserts to protect anything significant from being sucked into the engine compartment.

As of now there hasn't been any word about modifications to the interior but we're thinking that the coupe will follow the sedan's suit with updated screens and software for the infotainment system.
