Recently I was grabbing a cup of coffee at one of my favorite Starbucks in Bergen County. As I drove past the newly revamped Mercedes-Benz dealer, Benzel-Busch, I noticed that something special was sitting on the showroom floor. That would be the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
Though it was late on a weekday night, I haven't seen the car in the flesh so I dragged one of my lady friends into the showroom to check it out. Unfortunately, the battery was dead so I couldn't play around with it.
What I can tell you is that this vehicle looks slick in person and that the interior has been raised a bar or two — the plastic buttons and trim bits that seemed less-than-impressive in the last-gen product have been overhauled with real metal and trim bits that reminds me of the Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur Speed I've driven.
