Spotted at a Mercedes-Benz facility abroad was something peculiar.

It was a fully camouflaged Mercedes-Benz G-Class. This strikes as peculiar for a couple reasons:

1) We were under the impression that the latest iteration of the G would be its final — the company did release, after all, the Final Edition; and,

2) Why would Mercedes do a fully camouflaged G-Class? It seems a bit odd given that there's not much to hide after all these years and there is not much room for the G wagon to change.

Frankly, I have no idea what could be up the three-pointed star's sleeve.

It has released the G with all of its heavy duty motors — including the AMGs — and it is delivering the truck in 6x6 and 4x4 fashion.

Care to hazard any guesses, Spies?
