Over the summer it became readily apparent that the boys and girls in Maranello were working on an all-new F car. But it wouldn't be for the masses. As a follow up to the wacky Ferrari 599 GTO, it was clear that the Italian marque was producing an F12 that was a bit nuttier than the standard spec.

Though we knew exactly what it would look like due to leaked computer images from a configurator, we waited to see more. It wasn't too long before images of a yellow car on the factory's property emerged. Still, we awaited official details.

How much power would it make?

How much weight would it lose?

What all-new race-inspired technology would make it lap Fiorano faster?

And then Ferrari unleashed the F12tdf to the world.

With 770 horsepower, over 500 lb.-ft. of torque and over 240 pounds removed it will rocket to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and lap Fiorano in 1:21:00.

And while the studio shots certainly make it look menacing, we're far more interested in seeing how it looks on the street. Well, such an opportunity presented itself to Florian Schulz who snapped a yellow car — we're assuming it's the same one from the factory (?) — that pulled into a gas station.

Check out his snaps, below!
