We've seen weird things happen in this business before, but this could be one of the more peculiar ones if it's actually true.
Coming to us is news that the all-new Porsche 911 (991) GT3 RS may have been leaked. Not by way of a faulty website or an embargo being broken. This time the culprit is said to be a scale model.
Why a scale model with this much detail would be created is beyond me. But, if we're honest, it does look like a more advanced version of the current-gen 911 GT3. The differences are as follows:
- Wider front fenders
- Venting over front fender
- Venting in front of the rear fender a la Turbo/Turbo S models
- Extra large rear spoiler in what appears to be carbon fiber
- Roll cage in cockpit
So, we have to ask: Is THIS scale model the all-new Porsche 911 GT3 RS? Should we take it seriously?
