Probably one of the more intriguing collaborations in the auto world currently is the Subaru and Toyota joint project.
The plan's mission is to bring a sporty coupe to both brands.
But from the latest crop of spy photographs, it looks like Subaru is looking at putting a nice turbocharged motor under the hood, as evidenced by the traditional, Subaru hood scoop. According to Autocar's source, the front-mounted intercooler was visible.
The mule appears to be in its early stages of development, so we cannot be sure if the Impreza body work will make it to production or if its merely undergoing some testing.
