Like it or hate it, one thing's certain. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a titan in the large luxury sedan class. It is an icon that has reigned supreme for what seems like eons.

But after its current generation has been around for quite some time, it's due for an update. A major one.

Though we've seen a couple of heavily camouflaged S-Classes running around in a European winter, these are the FIRST shots of the all-new S being spotted with light camouflage. Now we can actually make out the vehicle's finer details.

Take, for example, it's wider and more prominent grille or, for instance, it's headlights that seem to have that large, gloppy-looking headlight akin to the all-new SL-Class.

From what we can see though, don't expect a shocking new product. It appears to be more inline with an evolution rather than a revolutionary design.

These are some of the most revealing scoop pictures yet of the next iteration of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class limousine, codenamed W222.
