As I've noted in recent weeks, Tesla has captivated plenty of consumer's attention. The electric auto manufacturer has been able to bottle up that certain product lust that's very rarely achievable.

We say, good for Tesla. And likely good for TSLA shareholders.

The much-anticipated Model X is finally coming to Tesla showrooms and there's been a little bit of curiosity surrounding how its Falcon Doors will function. They're not Gullwing doors and they're obviously not Scissor doors. These are going to be an all-new design and they have to be given the size of the door opening.

Apparently a couple of folks that spotted a Model X research and development vehicle followed it to its location and saw the door in action.

From what we can see it definitely is a different mechanism than Gullwing doors and, honestly, it looks like it doesn't look to require much space to open. It seems to be a conventional door would require quite a bit more room than these Falcon Doors.

What say you, Spies?
