The all-new Audi TT was debuted and launched in the past year, however, the four rings isn't through yet. That's because in recent weeks the more powerful TT RS variant has been getting spied around the world famous Nürburgring track.

There's just one thing. The all-new TT RS that's been spotted had a bit of a crash. A big one.

Coming around one of the Ring's turns it's clear the TT RS loses grip and does a spin. Unfortunately, there wasn't a tremendous amount of room for run off and the blacked-out prototype meets the wall several times. Although the clip doesn't show if the driver is OK, we're assuming he or she must have been bumped around a bit. Thankfully, the crash wasn't too forceful as the airbags do not appear to have deployed.

For even some of the world's finest test drivers and engineers sometimes when they're pushing a vehicle to its limit it will bite back. This is the cost of doing business and hopefully the occupant was not injured.

Beneath the crash clip we've also embedded another spy video of what is thought to be another TT RS before the incident — it's equipped with a different rear spoiler and set of plates.
