As we've written in plenty of stories by this point, one of the Agents favorite Porsche's is the 911 Targa. It gives you the best of both worlds — a open top and a 911 — while keeping the rigidity of a coupe.

Of course the 911 is typically rare because it's not one or the other and weighs a bit, but hey, it's your loss. Let's put it this way, you don't buy a Targa for its resale ;)

That may change going into 2014 though. That's because we've been keeping an eye on the Targa tester that Porsche has been developing and its far different than what's been done previously. That's because it's going BACK to the 80s with a proper, removable roof.

As we've shown in a previous story, the way the 993, 996 and 997 Targa's worked, essentially a large piece of sliding glass, can be had on your standard 991 with an option. NOW it appears the Targa will have more of that retro look.

That said, after you take a look at the video, let us know: Is the all-new Porsche 911 Targa going to BETTER or WORSE with that removable roof? Would you rather have the optional, sliding glass roof OR the old-school removable roof?
