By now I would have thought the all-new BMW M2 would have been revealed. Personally, I thought that the perfect venue for a debut was the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. But, by now it's apparent I was wrong on that one.

As we turn towards the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) it looks like it's the spot the Bavarians will debut its latest M car.

With rumors indicating it will feature a six-cylinder good for — give or take — 365-370 horsepower, and be offered with a choice between a dual-clutch transmission and a six-speed manual, expectations are running high.

According to information leaked by a Belgium-based dealer though it will not be offered in Valencia Orange. Sorry, folks. That's the 1M's color for now.

The latest video shot at the world famous Nürburgring shows a BMW M2 making its way around the circuit. Now equipped with what appears to be a production exhaust, you can tell the tone has changed a bit. It sounds a bit muted and a bit M4-like, if I am honest. In addition, you can definitely hear the forced induction nature of the engine.

Check out the clip below and let us know if this is getting you MORE psyched up for its launch!
