As a huge automotive fan, I am attracted to anything with four wheels. Whether its a Kia or a Koenigsegg, I am interested to learn more.

While that doesn't mean I LOVE all vehicles, that does mean I am interested in understanding why people are into their rides of choice. And, I also like to stay on top of the latest trends. It's cool to see why people make the modifications to their autos.

Just the other day I asked the Spies a simple question: Are "murdered out" rides played out for good? It seems as though the consensus was split.

While that trend is on the way out, I've noticed something else bubbling to the surface: Removing car parts, especially on forced induction vehicles, for what I would suspect is better cooling/breathing. Or, it could just be for a more "raw" look.

Cars like the Lamborghini Huracan, Porsche 911, Audi R8, Audi RS7 and the Ferrari 488 have been spotted with parts removed and it doesn't appear to be slowing. So, Spies, what's your call?

Are removed body parts and exposed internals going to be the next BIG thing for high-performance sports cars? To YOU, is this look a STUD or DUD?
