Toyota won’t develop a convertible version of the Scion FR-S for the United States auto market because the model will become too expensive for its future customers.



The fact that the Japanese based automaker Toyota is planning to develop a drop-top version of the GT 86 sports car, which will probably be translated to the Subaru BRZ too, isn’t a surprise anymore but what comes as bad news for the over-seas fans of the model is that the company won’t produce the Scion FR-S Convertible.
