The Honda CR-Z is one of those vehicles that a lot of folks had great hopes for, however, when it finally came to the market it just didn't quite meet expectations.
Sure, it was unique because it offered a manual transmission in a hybrid vehicle but its MPG ratings didn't blow us away.
I will admit, however, it's probably one of the most fun hybrids that I've driven. A standard gearbox goes a long way, folks!
I'd assume after getting downed by a healthy majority that Honda has some unfinished business to attend to.
While expectations are once again running high -- with some hoping for a more powerful turbo variant -- it seems that Honda's Japanese website is running a video teasing some elements of the upcoming 2013(?) model year product.
Obviously when you can't read Japanese that makes things a bit more difficult; however, the most intriguing clip comes when Honda shows off a button that's clearly an "S+." We're feeling pretty confident that Honda will offer the updated CR-Z with a Sport + tuning that will further sharpen the throttle response and give the CR-Z more of a kick in the pants.
