The day has finally come. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been completely revealed for the very first time and we're getting an in-depth look at it. There's tons of new information about the all-new luxury sedan. We wouldn't expect anything less from such a critical benchmark in the top class.

Note that the interior matches exactly what we saw when a spy snapped images and we ran them months ago. Unfortunately, we had to remove the images because they were too good and Mercedes didn't like that.

But I'll reiterate what I said then. My first impressions of the interior were that it appears to have received some upgrades in the materials. Everything looks well thought out and it's a pretty impressive place to be; however, there is one problem for me.

It looks like such an old man's car.

The two gigantic screens are integrated very similar to a late 1980s car trying to be futuristic — with one gigantic hump in the dash. I can't seem to grasp why Mercedes would invest in a TFT panel for the instrument cluster then make the "dials" exactly as how they'd appear had it not used a TFT display.

Probably the biggest sour points for me are the two-spoke steering wheel and the circular air vents that look as though they're lifted from Bentley. I don't know if its possible to make an uglier steering wheel between this and the unfortunate wheel in the Aston Martin Lagonda.

Does the interior look like a nice place to be chauffeured in. Yes, I'll give it that. But when I compare this interior to what currently exists in the Porsche Panamera and Audi A8, I am not all that blown away.

What say you, Spies?
