As expected, the entry level Model X from Tesla Motors is priced at $80,000. The electric car maker also set delivery dates.

To date, the only firm price given for the Model X crossover utility vehicle (CUV) has been for the highest end Signature Series that starts at $132,000 — as that was the only series initially available for ordering. Tesla is now showing pricing for the entry level model too before rebates and incentives. Configuration Details have been posted on Tesla forums. The base $80,000 70D model has a range of 220 miles, does 0-60 in 6 seconds, and has a top speed of 140 mph.  It comes with the standard two rows of seats. The delivery date is listed as mid- to late 2016.

Other models include the 90D with a range of 257 miles, 0-60 in 4.8 seconds, and a top speed of 155 mph. The P90D is 250 miles, 3.8 seconds (3.2 seconds in Ludicrous Mode), and a 155 mph, respectively.  If you opt for a six-seat interior that adds $3,000, while a seven seat interior adds $4,000. Those models are listed with delivery dates of mid 2016.
