Yes, Koenigsegg has once again updated the aging CC-platformed, high-performance beast. If you weren't following us at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, you would have missed out on the latest and greatest dubbed the Agera R.
Not only does it have an astonishing 5.0-liter V8 motor that can produce up to 1,115 horsepower when run on E85 ethanol but it also has a unique snow package that has an optional Thule roof box and snow tires.
Although Koenigsegg didn't release official specs at the show, it has finally done so. What's this all mean? Zero to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, zero to 124 mph in 7.5 seconds and zero to 124 to zero in 12.7 seconds. All are very impressive times if these figures mean absolutely nothing to you.
Expect this bad boy to cost a pretty penny over 1 million Euros.

The Koenigsegg Agera R was one of the stars of the Geneva show grabbing many headlines with its unusual high-speed roof-box that was proposed as an accessory. However, there was plenty of information missing about this Swedish hypercar. Up until now, that is, as the exotic carmaker came out with all the juicy details.
Starting with the performance numbers, the Agera R lives up to the company's reputation. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h [62mph] comes after just 2.9 seconds, while 0 to 200 km/h [124mph] takes only 7.5 seconds. Even more impressively, the 0-200-0 km/h [0-124mph-0] is covered in a mere 12.7 seconds, partially thanks to its ventilated carbon ceramic brakes...
