Yesterday, I received an interesting question from my dear friend’s co-worker. Let me provide you with a bit of context.

He is a gearhead. This is the kind of guy that goes on track days and loves his BMW E46 M3 to pieces. Yes, it is taken care of. Yes, it is a manual. And, yes, he can drive quite well. But, the time has come in this gentleman’s life where he and his wife are ready to start a family.

So, now what?

Obviously, the E46 is staying, however, his wife will need a set of wheels to get around. Should he settle and get a Mercedes-Benz sport-utility vehicle, or something of the like, or should he and his wife pursue something a bit more unique — a wagon?

Take, for example, the Volvo V60 Polestar. He asked me about this vehicle and having had the chance to recently drive the S60 Polestar I weighed in. The simple answer is no. I’ll explain in that review.

Having said all of that, I wanted to pose this question to the Spies: What would YOU add to your fleet if you need utility, want something unique and are looking to spend up to $60-65,000 smackers?

To Wagon Or NOT To Wagon? That Is The Question...
