Jan. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Toyota Motor Corp.’s union will seek higher wages for contract factory workers as well as regular full-time employees in this year’s wage negotiations, Nikkei English News said.

The union will also seek an annual bonus of five months’ worth of base pay plus 200,000 yen, which would give the typical employee about 2 million yen ($22,500), Nikkei said.

The union began accepting contract workers on the job for at least a year as members last year and has now about 2,200 as members, the report said.
