The Arnage flagship of Bentley ceased production recently, but the carmaker has in mind a future super Arnage, which will be bigger, faster and a lot more luxurious than the retired variant, and which will begin production in the latter part of 2010.
The next generation Arnage is speculated to be revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this August. Although the present model of Arnage is being left behind in the competition against rival Rolls-Royce Phantom and Maybach saloons in terms of updates, the new variant is undergoing testing in Crewe, England outside the company’s main offices. Bentley is planning a break of almost an entire year beginning this September before starting the next generation, up-market Arnage’s production, and this in spite of the head-start of the competition.
