Earlier speculations concerning which Fiat models will be sent to the US to sell via its newly forged partnership with Chrysler have recently been laid to rest with clear hints observed in documents filed by Chrysler’s Chapter 11 proceedings.

It was reported that Fiat has consented to create a vehicle employing Chrysler’s C-EVO platform at one of the latter’s facilities in the US. Other reports confirm that models that are going to assist Chrysler include the Fiat 500, Grande Punto and Panda together with the Mito and Milano both from Alfa Romeo. These new models will also be joined by Fiat’s 3.0-liter diesel V6 and 1.4-liter 4-cylinder Multiair powerplant line, together with the dual-clutch auto gearbox, which Chrysler will employ in lieu of Getrag’s units they will no longer be getting.
