The past couple of nights I've made a point to call into question another automaker's marketing strategy. While Lexus makes great products that speak to its large consumer base, I just can't figure out why it hired the Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am to be the pitchman for the all-new NX.

Then have him slap on a bad body kit on it for the 2014 Paris Motor Show.

So when I saw Porsche's new spot for the all-new Macan sport-utility vehicle, I wanted to ask YOU if it's more in line with potential customers. Using the German company's heritage and current product portfolio, we hear a modern interpretation of the Monkees' "I'm a Believer," and then there are the car porn shots of the all-new Macan.

The punchline: "it's [Porsche] for anyone who believes that every car should be a sports car."

What say YOU spies? Is this new ad for the Macan giving YOU a bit more motivation to go walk into a Porsche showroom?
