Although the Goodwood Festival of Speed ended this past weekend, we're still checking out the good and the bad from this year's event. It's turning into a much bigger spectacle as each year ticks by and we're thinking this will be yet another premier international motoring event in short order.

From what we've seen there's a clear bias towards British autos — would you expect anything else from the Brits? — but that doesn't mean other interesting products can't show up and go for a run up the hill.

As reported last week, one of the U.K's premier celebrities, Jamiroquai frontman Jay Kay, recently added to his growing collection of autos. He took delivery — last Tuesday — of a Ferrari LaFerrari but it's not painted a traditional red or Fly Yellow. It's green. Just about the same green as a Mark I Porsche 911 (997) GT3 RS.

In this brief interview with a Goodwood reporter, he discusses the event, his LaFerrari and his car collection that's been expanding without anyone else's knowledge. The great thing about Jay Kay — even seen in his other auto-related television appearances — is that he's seemingly down to earth and exudes passion for automobiles. Why else would he snap up a Lancia Delta Integrale or an E30 BMW M3?
