I once heard a line that went something like this. If you were to ask a child to draw a car, the most likely image will resemble the shape of a Porsche 911. It's that much of an icon.

Though I can't verify that scientifically, I can buy that. And while it is a car that's held in wide regard across Europe and the U.S., it's even more interesting to hear the stories from owners in emerging markets, like Taiwan.

Porsche recently put together this clip that captures not only what makes the 911 special, but also what makes it special to these owners in Taiwan. It's definitely a fascinating look into what these buyers find value in.

For example, I never associate "safety," with Porsche but you'll note a common thread throughout the commentary. See for yourself, below...
