As I've noted time and time again here on AutoSpies, there are automobiles and then there are the masterpieces turned out by Pagani Automobiles. These vehicles are completely on another level.

The level of detail and obsession with each and every Pagani that leaves the factory has never been seen before in the automotive world.

As seen with the company's first vehicle, the Zonda, there were a slew of variants that came after the initial road car. And that's where we're at with the relatively new Huayra. The first non-standard Huayra to make its way to the market is the Huayra BC. Named after a close friend of Horacio Pagani — and his first customer — this car's name was given his initials.

The BC stands apart from your typical Huayra in the fact it is more powerful and nearly 300 pounds lighter than the standard car.

Only 20 are to be built for global consumption and the vehicle you're seeing here is thought to be the prototype that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show (GIMS). It's in the U.S. to tour and gain more interest in the brand.

Immediately you can notice the Pagani Huayra BC is louder than the standard Huayra with the new exhaust system on the car along with the upgraded engine. Even when it's revving the crackle and popping from the exhaust seems to be even more intense. It was a pleasure seeing this car in person and I hope to get to spend more time with one in the future!
